Johnston International is one of the largest Caribbean based construction companies employing over two hundred staff. In order to maintain the highest levels of staff qualification we recruit staff from all over the world.
Wherever possible we like to recruit young talent and train them within the organization.
When filling senior posts Johnston International prefers to promote staff from within the company.
Below are some examples of our Young Guns within the organization.
Ana Schwerer
Ana graduated from the National Pedro Henriquez Urena University, in the Dominican Republic, with a degree in Civil Engineering in 1997.
Following graduation Ana worked as a Structural Engineer for a year and then transferred into the estimating role working on projects intially in the Dominican Republic and then on bids on other Caribbean Islands.
Ana joined the Johnston International head office team, based on the island of Providenciales in the Turks and Caicos Islands, as an Estimator in August 2004. Ana currently leads bids for a wide range of Civil Engineering and Building Projects throughout the Caribbean region. Ana is bilingual and her knowledge of Spanish has proved to be a great asset to the estimating team.
Paul Button
Paul graduated from the University of the West of England with a degree in Construction Management and Engineering in 1995.
Paul worked on a wide variety of projects in the UK and the Middle East prior to joining the Johnston International team, based on Providenciales in the Turks and Caicos Islands, in May of 2003, as a Project Manager.
Paul has successfully completed several projects for Johnson International during the past two years. Paul is currently heading a building project on Providenciales.
