Belize Regional Office
Johnston International first
worked in Belize in1965 on the International Airport Project and
returned in 1989 to build the Radisson Club Tower. A permanent area
office was established in Belize City in 1994, when Johnston
International were awarded the contract to build the San Pedro Pier, Water
and Sewerage scheme, consisting of a reinforced concrete reservoir and
pumping station and an earth fill sewage lagoon.
In
1995 / 1996 Johnston were commissioned to design and implement major
refurbishment works to the Radisson Fort George Hotel consisting of a
total internal refit to all central facilities, including rooms and
service areas.
Belize Aggregates opened its operation
in 1981 and has been the largest producer of quality limestone
aggregates since this time. The quarry is conveniently located 21 miles
from Belize City and is the city's nearest source of materials. All
material specifications conform to International standards and test
certificates are available for the full range of products.
In 2001, Johnston International purchased Tracto Belize Dredging Company, an established local dredging services operation.
