Project Overview:
Phase
1 of the project involves the construction of the first block of this 6
block ocean front condominium project on the island of North
Caicos. Additionally Johnston International limited will be
constructing the feature swimming pool, bar and beach access.
The
primary challenge for this project is with respect to the supply chain
logistics. In particular the requirement to tranship all materials from
Providenciales to North caicos on small shallow draft barges.

US$ 6.6m
Construction Schedule:
The commencement date for the project was the 4 January 2005 with a contract duration of 12 months.
Estimate Methodology:
The contract was awarded on a negotiated cost plan basis.
Package Strategy:
Johnston
as the main contractor is using its preferred supply chain partners as
appropriate, with the emphasis on local suppliers.
