Project Overview:

The Leeward Marina Project comprises an Upscale Resort with condominiums, boat storage, restaurants, commercial space and a 110 slip Eco - Marina together with the construction of 41 canal side homes.

Challenges:

The excavation of the marina basin and adjoining canal s will require the excavation of 130,000 cubic yards of material under water, the dredging of a marina approach from the sea following strict guidelines laid down by the Turks and caiocos Islands Department of Environmental and Coastal Resources. Additionally the project involves the installation of 4500 linear of dock wall and capping beams.

Construction Schedule:

The mobilization date for the project is the 1 July 2005 and the contract duration is 36 months.
