Currently based in
Barbados.
Joined Johnston
International in 1986. Prior to joining Johnston, he spent brief
periods in the Middle East and Falkland Islands with an international
contractor. Appointed Area Manager Turks and Caicos Islands in 1998
shortly before heading up the new region in Barbados.
Mr. Melhuish is a
graduate from Birmingham University (England) 1983 with an honours
degree in Civil Engineering, a Chartered Member of the Institute of
Building, Member of the Barbados Association of Professional
Engineers.
He has successfully
project managed a number of major commercial and hotel projects in
the Caribbean including The Parrot Cay Resort (Turks and Caicos), The
Westin Hotel (Cayman) and The Eastern Caribbean Central Bank (St.
Kitts).
He is presently
overseeing the construction of the 358 room Hilton Hotel and
Conference Centre in Barbados.
